The Challenge: Working in close partnership with Indigenous communities in British Columbia, Gathering Voices Society (GVS) recognize the multi-lateral benefits of environmental stewardship projects, but need to translate these into greater government investment.
Our Tools
We helped GVS to explore and explain the link between environmental stewardship programs and the health and wellbeing of Indigenous communities, thus justifying greater investment in the programs and their evaluations.
We are continuing to support GVS and stakeholders to explore appropriate and holistic evaluation frameworks for these programs to meet the needs of all stakeholders involved.
